Our school tours are perfect for Kindergarten through Third grade. It is a walking tour through the orchard that last about an hour. During this tour the kids will learn about the important parts of trees, and what is needed to produce an apple. We will visit our bee hives, and learn the role bees play in helping apples grow. The children will see some of the equipment we use to pick apples, and will get a chance to pick an apple of their own. Then we will show them how we sort and grade apples after they are picked, and where we store them. Finally, the children will get half a donut and an apple as a treat.
Teachers and Chaperone's are free. We start booking tours in July, and available dates are limited.
